  1. Flower Child says:

George Washington was a very active politician, plus a popular patriot, and leader of the Continental Army. He was also in the House of Burgess’s and the first president of the United States. Is this what you wanted? Hope I helped!
p.s. he treated his POWs well, not killing them but releasing them back to their army.

you will have to elaborate on your question.

To be honest I have never heard, nor I have read anything that leads me to call his actions villainous, in regard to anything.
Washington, who was self taught after an early age, lived as much as possible, according to a strict, personal code of manners and morals.
As a military commander, he was sometimes overly ambitious. As a young colonial officer he nearly triggered a war with France by flagrantly disregarding French sovereignty in Western Pennsylvania.
At Germantown his overly complex plan ruined an early chance to beat the British.
On the other hand, his carefull avoidance of large battles through most of the war, kept the revolution alive.Yet his decisive march on Yorktown, and suprise on Trenton were examples of terrific generalship.
As President, he worked hard to keep the nation free of both internal and external conflict.
On a personal level, he seems to have impressed nearly everyone he met; from Abigail Adams, to Alexander Hamilton, to Laffayette, and to his Stepchildren, he was known to be of wit, morality, and even temper.
Finally, while it’s true he was a large slave owner, he spent his later years trying to free them, without bankrupting himself. And when he died, in an act that was seen as radical, he freed all the slave sthat he owned.
In the final say, Washington was a heroic personality, one whose critics could not call a villlain.
