How did John Adams help persuade the delegates to sign the Declaration of Independence?
A.He told the delegates the French would help if they signed it.
B.He threatened delegates who were opposed to independence.
Or
C.He never gave up and spoke convincingly about independence.
He wrote much of the document with Thomas Jefferson.

I saw a video about Adams and it said that he left office in the middle of the night, because he felt bad about losing the office to Thomas Jefferson. Is that true? and please include more detail about the situation if is it true.

I’m uploading this in response to some people thinking our founding fathers were Deists. The truth is only 4 or 5 at best out of the 56 signers could be considered Deists and the rest were Christian. Even the Deists of those days were far more religious than most people would think they were today. [...]
